The album is something we do not enjoy as often as we used to… that is, unless you’re over a certain age. The iPod generation has mixed and mashed everything ever into an endless playlist that is never dull… but almost never fulfilling. There are plenty of great albums out there, though, of course… as any avid music listener will attest to. Plenty of people have their bands that they consider pure, album experiences. Some songs just aren’t any good on their own… but when listened to in the self-contained whole of an album, they fit right in.

Here is my 2¢ on a few upcoming albums that will most certainly be worth listening to, as well as short takes on 4 other albums that I have grown fond of in the past few months.
